Slip Down Lena is continuing a proud tradition carried by his legendary sire, Doc O’Lena, his outstanding dam, My Lucky Linda, and his three-fourths brother, Smart Little Lena.

The stallion was sensational in the preliminaries of the 1994 NCHA Futurity. He also earned money at the 1997 NCHA Super Stakes Classic and was a Pro-Am finalist at the 2001 Pacific Coast CHA Futurity, Gelding Stakes and Cutting Stakes. Slip Down Lena had career earnings of $55,226.

Doc O’Lena (pictured at right), the only Champion to lead all four go-rounds of the NCHA Futurity, is the cutting industry’s No. 6-ranked all-time sire (more than $15 million), while Smart Little Lena now ranks No. 1 at more than $30 million.

My Lucky Linda, dam of Slip Down Lena (pictured at bottom left), is a 1982 Peppy San-Docs Linda mare with offspring earnings of $400,000+. My Lucky Linda was an NCHA Futurity money earner, an Open finalist at the 1986 Southern Oregon Derby and a 4-year-old $10,000 Amateur finalist at the 1986 Bonanza Cutting. In addition to Slip Down Lena, My Lucky Linda also produced Folks Montaluc, a Montana Doc stallion that was an outstanding performer and now is a promising sire. TF Smartlittle Linda ($136,936), a 2001 mare by Smart Little Lena, tied for fourth at the 2004 NCHA Futurity and placed high at 2005 aged events.

Slip Down Lena is passing on ability, desire and good disposition. Slip Down Cat, a 2000 gelding out of Cat Bar Lady by Gay Bar King, has earned close to $60,00. He reached the finals of the 2004 Suncoast Winter Championships, 2004 PCCHA Cutting Stakes, 2004 Suncoast Fall 4-year-old Derby, 2005 Abilene Spectacular Classic, 2006 South Coast Open Classic Challenge and numerous other aged events.

Shut Up and Cut, a 1996 gelding out of Guards Pay Chex, was ridden by Cody Hedlund to the 2005 NCHA $20,000 Non-Pro World Championship and 2005 NCHA $20,000 Non-Pro World Finals Show Champion. He also placed third in the $20,000 Non-Pro at the 2004 NCHA Finals show and fifth in the 2004 NCHA $20,000 Non-Pro World Standings. He also was a finalist at 2004 aged events and in 2003, carried Tiana Stimpson to the Junior Reserve Championship and was a Non-Pro finalist at the NCHA Western Nationals. Shut Up and Cut has earnings nearing $100,000.
